This season, I’m all about volume. I can’t stay away from puff sleeves, wide leg denim is my new obsession, and when it comes to collars: the bigger the better. Collared sweaters are such a fun way to add a feminine touch to even the most casual jeans and sneakers type of day, and I love how they elevate any outfit and make a statement.

There are two different types of collared sweaters to shop this season: the collared polo and the oversized collar – which also has been referred to as the “clown collar”… but needless to say, I prefer the “oversized” description.

OVERSIZED COLLARED SWEATERS

Oversized collared sweaters are feminine, frilly, and designed to make a statement – and I absolutely adore them! It’s safe to say this style isn’t going to be loved by all, but it’s definitely one of my favorite styles of the season. What I love about this oversized sweater is the collar is detachable, so I can easily remove it for a simpler look. This sweater is one of the coziest I’ve found all season, and since it comes in three colors (cream, yellow, and gray), I’m tempted to order more!

COLLARED POLO SWEATERS

The second style I’m loving is the collared polo sweater. It gives me all the high school throwback vibes when we lived in polos during boarding school. While they can easily be dressed up, they are so chic with your favorite jeans and flats for a super easy weekend outfit. If you’re wanting to try the collared sweater trend, but not feeling the oversized look, these are a must!
