Boyfriend Denim Jacket

Hoping everyone had an incredible Easter weekend! This year I decided to extend my “Easter break” and spend a week in Florida with the family. You probably saw on instagram (#perennialtravels), but we decided to fly down to Orlando the week before Easter for a spontaneous family vacation. Since we grew up in Dothan, Alabama, driving to Orlando was always a quick and easy weekend getaway – well, 6 hours is easy for us! More on that trip to come.

Following Disney World, we drove to the Emerald Coast to spend the week at our home in Destin, Florida. As much as I love Dallas, there’s nothing better than being home on the coast. The beaches are to die for, the bay is incredibly calming, and the simplicity of being home is just too amazing!

Since I always seem to bring the rain with me every time I head to the beach, my summer dresses were put to the side, and I stuck to classic staples for chilly beach days. There’s nothing like all-white at the beach, so I kept my look simple with white skinnies and a flowy blouse. I recently got this new Dittos Smith BF Jacket (which is currently on major sale here!), and I can’t stop wearing it! The ultra soft denim is so comfy, and the distressed details give a bit of edgy to the classic style! Since it’s “boyfriend” style, it runs large – just FYI :) I am wearing a size Small.
