We all remember the days when Juicy Couture velour and terrycloth tracksuits ruled the fashion scene. Nothing was better than tossing on that matching colorful jumpsuit, usually with “Juicy” printed on the back, for a socially acceptable, comfortably-chic look. As celebrities like Britney Spears, Lindsay Lohan, Paris Hilton, and more lined the style sections of tabloids in Juicy circa early millennium, nothing felt cooler than rocking that same jumpsuit to school back home.
It’s now time to say goodbye to this fashion phenomenon, as Juicy Couture has confirmed that they will be closing all of their brick-and-mortar stores this summer. For those of you feeling nostalgic or want to prepare for the 2000s fashion comeback that is sure to happen, Kohl’s has confirmed they will be carrying the line throughout the Fall. Let’s all take a moment to remember the glory days of the tracksuit. RIP.
