Recently I had a friend reach out to me about plus size clothing and the challenges she faces finding fashionable pieces. What intrigued me the most about this request was how she said, “I’m talking real fashionable choices – It’s a major challenge, but it’s bound to exist!” Plus-size clothing is definitely a huge market, but finding the right way to channel new fashion trends is what is most important to focus on.

I believe that dressing for your shape and size is the key focus when it comes to getting that perfect street-style look. My take on clothing, for any size, is to find pieces that flatter your figure – not hide it! One of the biggest mistakes women make is wanting to wear baggy clothing because they are insecure of their shape, but often this actually makes women look much heavier! Curves are beautiful, so it’s time to start finding all the right pieces to flaunt your figure!
