For me, a classic tea-length cocktail dress is one of the most feminine and elegant styles designed. Whether it’s the vintage-inspired cut or the beautiful lace fabric, a dress like this is a certain shape I think every woman needs to own for the perfect black tie alternative.
Recently I attended the Little Black Dress Designer event at Tootsies, which featured ten Dallas women paired with ten student designers to create a ready-to-wear version of their runway LBD. Each student worked under the guidance of a Dallas designer, one being Lucy Dang. During my recent interview with Lucy at her showroom, I had so much fun playing dress up with all of her beautiful gowns, and we decided this tea-length dress would be the perfect dress for the LBD fashion show.
