Style The Skirt for Everyone Though the classic prep look isn’t usually my go-to shopping style, digging in my mom’s closet for fun new finds when I’m home is always a thrill. Since Destin-style is generally a lot more casual than Dallas-style, I wanted to find a way to mix both looks for dinner on the beach. One thing is for sure: my mom LOVES Lilly – well, my sisters too. It’s just such a timeless and feminine line that can work on any age. To make this item a little more “me”, I paired this Lilly pink and white stripe skirt with an oversized sweater (also worn here) and a pair of edgy lace-up heels. A stack of colorful bangles and pink statement earrings (seen here as well) were just the touches I needed for a colorful and girly hint. The one thing I love most about this skirt is that it can really morph into any style: Pair it with a white tee and Jack Rogers for lunch at the club, or with a pink silk blouse and nude heels for a friend’s bridal shower. It really is so versatile and will FOR SURE be passed around throughout this family of four girls.
