Lace Romper

Fun. Flirty. Feminine. No item is more perfect for a day with the girlfriends than a little romper paired with heels. One thing I find hilarious about rompers is the expression on a guy’s face when you say the word “romper” – whether they don’t understand the term or simply hate the onesie-style, I think rompers are such a girly item that every female needs in her closet! Finding the right romper isn’t always easy, however. One trick I have for romper-shopping is to order one size up. There’s nothing worse than a girl in a romper that is either too revealing OR screams “jenny from the block” – to avoid the too tight or too cheeky, one size up generally does the trick.

This BCBG romper is just too perfect for Spring. I love the lacy, cut-out details, and the way the white hue keeps it looking feminine, rather than revealing. Also, the pleated shorts and cuffed hem add a fullness to the shorts to create a slimming effect on your legs – always a bonus!
