When I think of Lilly, I think of bold prints for derby parties, graduations, luncheons, etc. Though I do love these colorful fabrics and adorable prints, I have found I reach for more “everyday” wear when getting dressed. Last summer, my mom sent me a simple navy and lace Lilly dress, and after tossing it on one day in a hurry on a way to a meeting, I ended up living in it all summer! The stretchy lightweight fabric in a solid color was so incredibly comfortable that it became a staple.

Since every year can always use a bit of an update, I decided to order a similar (yet almost exact) lace Lilly for a fun twist on last year’s fav. This Costello cut-in lace shift is one of my favorite new items for the season! Since I can wear it with flats for a casual Saturday or heels for a summer soiree, it is definitely my pick for this season’s staple! Pink not your thing?
