The best part about living in Dallas is the endless amount of unique events that occur within the city. It’s pretty easy to get in a routine and frequent the same favorite spots over and over again, but breaking out of the norm and trying something new always leads to an exciting night! We were recently invited to an exclusive night with Wolfgang Puck Catering, which was definitely one of our favorite events we’ve attended thus far!
The night began with a tour of the the beautiful Nasher Sculpture Center in Dallas, which happens to be my favorite museum in the city (check out their free event this weekend!). After learning all about the event spaces and wedding venues within the museum (what a dream), we participated in a “plating workshop” where we learned all about cake decorating – complete with gorgeous edible flowers! Safe to say cake decorating is not our expertise, but we had so much fun trying!
Following the workshop, we walked over to the AT&T Performing Arts Center for the first ever dinner on the reflective pool! After checking our shoes with the event valet, we enjoyed an incredible multi-course dinner where the dishes looked like art and tasted like heaven – complete with perfect wine pairings from Cakebread Cellars. Since the dishes were created table side, the chefs taught us all about each course, as well as the secret to using edible flowers – learn more here.
Overall, we had such an amazing time and were so grateful to be a part of this incredible evening! Take a look at some of the event photos below and be sure to stop by these wonderful places soon!
