Have you ever dreamed of being your own jewelry designer? Or perhaps you’ve simply had a vision in mind for one specific piece and don’t know where to begin? Thanks to Dallas-based Jewelry Theory, these dreams can now become a reality!

Being in our 20s, engagements seem to be an every week occurrence amongst our friends, and our social media accounts have become a running feed of diamond after diamond after diamond. Facebook, Pinterest, and Instagram have challenged the creativity of engagement rings and more often than not, I’m hearing my guy friends discussing how to create that “dream engagement” ring to give to their future fiancee but have no idea where to begin.

Recently I had the pleasure of meeting with Tom Voelker over at Jewelry Theory and got an inside scoop of the company and all of their services. Though I am not shopping for an engagement ring, I am looking to redesign a couple family stones and add an engravement to the back of my grandfather’s timepiece. I was absolutely blown away by the prices and customer service of this unique company, and I’m so excited to share this with all of you!

Consider this: You walk into a name brand jewelry store in Northpark Mall. You love all of the designs, but you want to create a custom piece that fits your style. The store sends the ring off to be created or adjusted, and then you receive the ring a couple weeks later. Yes, the concept is simple – but skipping the brand and going directly to the source is not only easier, but also more time and cost effective! Jewelry Theory is your source.

Though walking into Jewelry Theory is not what you would expect when envisioning a “jewelry studio”, it is a fascinating brand that I would recommend to anyone looking to create a special something. There’s no actual jewelry in sight, but rather a highly talented group of individuals creating your intricate designs on a computer, shaping molds using 3D printers, and then bringing each piece to life by hand. By creating each piece from start to finish in the jewelry architectural studio, you can guarantee the final product is perfect – in as little as five days!
