Bonfire Poncho

banana dress5-17A few years ago, the term “poncho” to me reminded me of those awkward mock-turtleneck, bubblegum-hued Limited Too tossovers. Ring a bell? Well safe to say that image has been quickly replaced by the countless amount of chic ponchos popping up this season. These warm and cozy sweater-alternatives have been my weakness lately, and I can’t stop stocking up on them for the colder months.

This new bonfire poncho I snagged at LOFT is one of my newest favorites. The bold color tones and oversized fit makes this an easy pick for accessorizing any simple outfit, plus it feels like I’m wearing a blanket everywhere I go #win. The best part about this item is that it’s one-size-fits-all, so it’s one of the easiest pieces to order online!

For a casual Fall look, I layered this poncho over a simple tee, jeans, and ankle booties. I tossed on a long tassel necklace for a pop of red. Check out my look below: (Hint: this poncho is only $69 + 40% off!)
