Velvet Mini Dress

We posted velvet as a must-have trend here, but velvet is a throwback trend you definitely need in your closet this season. We all remember the days of the 90’s when velvet rocked our wardrobe (at least for those Limited Too shoppers like me), so this fabric is not only loved for its super soft touch, but also for the nostalgia that comes along when worn!

I snagged this velvet mini from Boohoo as a part of their We Are Family holiday campaign – see my other favorite Boohoo holiday looks from our post here. Though I wore this dress to ring in the new year with my friends, I definitely plan on wearing this dress all through the season. Oversized sparkly earrings dressed this look up for a holiday feel, but for an every-weekend style, I paired it with gold statement earrings and a statement cuff for an edgier feel.
