Croquet Chic

Happy Monday! If you noticed we took a few days off of posting on the blog last week, it’s because we were too busy celebrating our mom’s wedding! We’ve shared before that our dad passed away of melanoma six years ago, so we are so happy that our mom has found such an amazing man to spend the rest of her life with – and we are so excited to announce that we now have a wonderful stepdad that we absolutely love! Since there’s nothing we value more than our family, we are overjoyed with this new marriage :)

Though our family lives in Sandestin, FL, they decided to have the wedding at the Jekyll Island Club Hotel – We’ll be sharing photos of that to come, so brides-to-be, take note of this heavenly destination!

I’ll be sharing a hotel spotlight of the resort soon, but one of our favorite activities we enjoyed at the resort was croquet. If you’ve never played a round of croquet, it’s definitely a classic sport everyone can enjoy – and since it doesn’t require too much movement, the dress code leans more towards chic than sporty.. Definitely my cup of tea. For an afternoon on the lawn, I wore this new ruffle, eyelet crop top from Morning Lavender with a pair of linen shorts. Check out my look below and shop the look below:
