Happy Monday! I hope everyone had a great weekend. This was my first weekend in Dallas in months, and it was so nice to have a low-key weekend with friends and family! I started the weekend off on Friday at Pok for happy hour then went to the Doobie Brothers and Chicago concert later that evening. Since Friday was one of the hottest days of the year so far (hello, Dallas summer!), dressing for the heat is imperative.

I absolutely love this new slip dress from Everlane, and I can already tell it will be a staple in my summer wardrobe. The length hits right around the knee, which is perfect for more conservative events. To switch it up for a Friday night, I added a western belt to shorten it a tad and paired it with nude heels – and packed sandals in my car for the concert!
