There’s nothing quite like an afternoon by the pool sipping a cold refreshing cocktail with friends. After a long work week, we all deserve an excuse to take it easy and enjoy an adult beverage. While rosé is always my beverage of choice for weekend brunch, I like to spice it up from time to time with a speciality cocktail. One, it feels more festive. Two, it feels more domestic. Adding a couple different ingredients to my favorite rosé makes the perfect summer cocktail, and I’m excited to share that recipe with you! Behold, the Summer Rosé Spritzer!
What I love most about the Summer Rosé Spritzer is that it’s a combination of my favorite summer beverages, plus it’s super easy to make! For this recipe, I used a Texas-based rosé I love – the 2016 Llano Estacado Signature Rosé. Llano Estacado is the largest, best-selling premium winery in Texas. The Signature Rosé is fruity and aromatic, so it’s perfect for a sweet and summery cocktail.
Summer Rosé Cocktail:
INGREDIENTS:
- 1 bottle of Llano Signature Rosé
- 24 oz. (or 3 cups) Sparkling Pink Lemonade
- 8 oz. Club Soda
- 4 Lemons (sliced)
- 6 Strawberries (sliced)
- Mint
DIRECTIONS:
- Fill the pitcher with lemons, strawberries, and mint.
- Pour the sparkling pink lemonade, Llano Estacado Rosé, and club soda into the pitcher.
- Mix and pour into glasses.
- Garnish with fruit and mint.
It’s absolutely delicious, so I hope you will give this one a try! If you love it, be sure to pin the recipe to your Pinterest board! xo
