I’m not sure exactly when it happened, but the one thing that influences my style more than anything these days is comfort. Why? I have no idea – maybe just the change of season – but a comfy and cozy sweater is my feel-good outfit these days.
Since I live in a warm climate, I tend to invest more in my summer wardrobe than my winter wardrobe. I only have a few days a year that I can wear my favorite wool coat, but endless days to toss on a summer sundress – so aside from a couple investment pieces, I love finding steals on winter wear. That being said, the one sweater I find myself tossing on season after season is this loose gray sweater. It’s quite possibly the most inexpensive item in my closet, but surprisingly the most worn (see here). It’s the one jacket I’m always stuffing in my carry on bag before long flights OR tossing on with jeans and a simple tee. It’s oh-so-comfy, so who can resist that?
