What I love most about living in Dallas is the never-ending event scene. From fashion shows to store openings, there’s always a reason to dress up, meet up with some of my favorite bloggers, sip some bubbly, and surround myself with all things feminine!
This past week I attended the Lafayette 148 New York fashion show at Neiman Marcus for their Lafayette Loves Women Artists Event. The event series was created to celebrate women artists from their inspiration and influence where art meets fashion, while showcasing the new SS18 collection. What I love most about the Spring collection is how the styles are fluid between all age groups. With feminine and sophisticated pieces, the collection is timeless and can be worn for years to come. Tying in with the Women Artists Series, the SS18 collection was inspired by three talented female artists Georgia O’Keeffe, Helen Frankenthaler, and Joan Mitchell.
“Lafayette Loves Women Artists is a way for us to create a “moment” to celebrate the Women Artists and inspire all women to connect with their inner creative to use their wardrobe as a vehicle for self-expression,” states Emily Smith, Creative Director, Lafayette 148 New York.
In addition to getting a first glance at the new collection, another highlight was getting to meet the event host, Stephanie Nass (also known as Chefanie Nass) – the New York based culinary arts expert and Victory Supper Club founder.
For the event, I wore this new Lafayette 148 silk dress with simple accessories, but I’ve rounded up some of my favorite styles for you to shop below! Keep scrolling to see more of my favorite picks + event photos!
