Whether we’re celebrating an exciting milestone or simply looking for some weekend fun, we love popping bubbly and planning brunches to celebrate with friends. While there are so many great restaurants in Dallas to visit, we often prefer planning a brunch at home for a fun and easy way to celebrate with friends!
The trick to planning the perfect brunch isn’t necessarily being a whiz in the kitchen, but rather it’s having the right supplies on hand to throw a festive get-together! From styling treats to playing the perfect tunes, we’re sharing seven simple tips on how to plan a celebratory brunch!
1 – Have a favorite bubbly on hand
What’s a brunch without a little bubbly? Keeping a bottle of chilled prosecco in the fridge allows me to be prepared for any celebration. I recommend buying Chloe Wine Collection Prosecco. It’s my go-to since it’s sold at a great price point ($17.99), and is bursting with fresh fruit and fine bubbles, with notes of peach, green apple, citrus and white flowers on the nose and palate. I love the taste, and the logo is so feminine and chic on any table setting!
2 – Whip up a signature prosecco cocktail
While everyone loves a classic mimosa, I love opting for different mixers to create a fun (and easy) drink! Provide carafes of different juices (pomegranate is my favorite) for a make-your-own mimosa bar, or serve a signature prosecco cocktail that all guests will love! I love the Chloe Elderflower Fizz – not only is it delicious, but it’s quick and easy to make! See the directions below:
Chloe Elderflower Fizz
1-part chilled Chloe Prosecco
1-part elderflower liqueur
½ part gin
Combine elderflower liqueur and gin in a champagne flute, and top with chilled Chloe Prosecco.
Garnish with fresh mint.
3 – Stop by a favorite bakery for delicious treatsÂ
If I’m planning a brunch, I prefer to create a spread of light bites and sweets. Instead of spending the morning in the kitchen, I typically pick up a wide array of store-bought favorites and make one or two items using homemade recipes. It keeps the prep time to a minimum while still serving a mix of treats.
4 –Â Stock up on fun trays and serveware to dress up a table
Let’s be real, presentation is everything. Style store-bought treats on formal plates to dress up even the simplest food items. Using a mix of trendy marble plates with classic sterling silver pieces is an easy way to liven up a table. I also love mixing heights too, so cake plates are always a favorite.
5 – Keep a full set of champagne flutes on hand
Whether you’re an avid entertainer or throw the occasional girls’ night out, be sure to keep a full set of champagne flutes at home. Having the right glassware for every occasion makes entertaining a piece of cake!
6 – Display fresh flowers for an easy table setting
As I’ve gotten older, I’ve found I always keep fresh flowers in my home. Flowers bring any table setting to life, plus it’s a simple and easy centerpiece for entertaining.
7 – Keep favorite playlists on handÂ
No celebration is complete without tunes. Have a selection of favorite stations or premade playlists for any occasion – from pumped up hits to chill favorites. Picking the right music makes all the difference!
From casual weekend gatherings to celebratory occasions, keeping your house stocked with essentials will cut back on prep time to make planning any brunch a breeze! Next time you’re looking for the perfect bubbly, pick-up a bottle (or two!) of Chloe Wine Collection Prosecco. Always a crowd favorite, Chloe Prosecco pairs well with both savory and sweet treats.
