#GenSteve: Imperfection Is The New Perfection

 

In the world of social media, it’s easy to find yourself comparing your life to others when your feed is constantly flooded with beautiful imagery or picture-perfect lifestyles. Trust me, I find myself doing it too – and it’s tough to avoid!

One thing is for sure, I’m not perfect. I’m five minutes late wherever I go. Diet Coke will always be my weakness. I frequently forget to text back. I always seem to spill on my white outfits. I worry way too much. I never sleep enough. The list goes on and on. However, these are just a few of the quirks that make me, ME. I’m a blogger, a photographer, a traveler, a sister, a homebody, a pizza addict, a dreamer. I’m not defined by any stereotypes or ideas of who I should be. I am myself, and I am proud of who I am.

Through the ups and downs, successes and failures, Steve Madden has been there all along the way. None of us are perfect, so it’s time to embrace every imperfection and celebrate what makes us, US.
