6 Tips For Creating A Gorgeous Easter Tablescape

Light Blue Herend Fish Scale Easter Tablescape

Can y’all believe Easter is this Sunday?!

While this year may not feel as festive as some, Kevin and I decided to bring the Easter flair into our home with a seasonal tablescape!

My husband and I absolutely love entertaining, so we like to go all out for holidays and set up well before the holiday actually arrives – every celebration deserves to be extended! Plus a seasonal tablescape is the perfect way to brighten up our home, and switch up our everyday decor.

Keep reading for all of our tips on creating a gorgeous tablescape!

Choose A Theme

Picking a theme is the perfect way to design a tablescape and color scheme!  When we were growing up, our mom liked to include little Herend bunnies and figurines in our Easter basket as a fun surprise. Now that I’m older, I have continued to collect Herend pieces (luckily my husband loves them too), and you will find them all over our house!  The Herend rabbits are our personal favorite, plus they make the best decor for Easter, so we chose this as our theme for Easter this year.

Start With A Seasonal Centerpiece

Choose a centerpiece as your focal point and work out from there. Instead of using fresh flowers, we decided to pick a centerpiece that would last for weeks – and pretty Easter eggs are so fun to incorporate this time of year! We filled our favorite Waterford Easter basket with moss and colorful Easter eggs as our centerpiece, then filled in the rest of the table with colorful Herend bunnies. We also added two Baccarat candlesticks to bring some warmth to the table!

Switch Up Your China

Easter is the perfect time to pull out your favorite china, or pick up some festive new dinnerware for your table! We absolutely love our light blue Herend Fish Scale china, because it is so elegant + it matches so many different tablescapes. We often switch out the salad plate with different plates to give a new look. It’s so fun to mix and match china, plus Blair and Ellen each have different Herend patterns, so we can mix and match our patterns over the years!

Some of my other favorite plates to include in an Easter tablescape are adorable bunny plates like these, garden themed plates like these, and beautiful pink floral patterns like these.

Incorporate Festive Serveware, Napkins, And Table Displays

I love all holiday decor, but Easter is just the cutest! Rabbit-themed serving dishes, monogrammed napkins, and gingham tablecloths are some of my favorite table accents for Easter. I’ve linked so many of my favorites below, but these are such a fun and easy way to upgrade your table display!

Little Details Make A Big Impact

Once you cover all the big items, have fun adding in little touches like place card holders, napkin rings, poppers, etc. We added these miniature Herend bunnies on each place setting for a festive touch, and I love how dainty they look! A gold chocolate bunny, an Easter egg nest, or a box of Sugarfina gummies are three additional fun ways to dress up your place setting.

Don’t Forget The Sweets!

Lastly, don’t forget to add in some delicious sweets! Fill up a little bunny bowl with colorful jelly beans, stack your favorite macaroons on this adorable 3-tiered stand, or display beautiful iced Easter cookies on a seasonal tray for a beautiful (and tasty) touch!
