Now that traveling to Mexico is on the clear, I’m so excited to finally start planning a trip back with my husband – after all, what’s better than traveling as newlyweds? 

You guys know by now how much I LOVE Mexico, so much that I planned six trips last year (which unfortunately the last one was cancelled – so extra ready to visit again!). That being said, whether I’m planning a girls trip or a romantic getaway, Mexico is always my favorite place for a long weekend – and today I’m excited to share one of my favorite hotels I’ve discovered in Mexico: Grand Velas Los Cabos. 

In my opinion, there’s nothing better than an all-inclusive resort, but it’s not always easy to find one that levels up to the luxury hotels we all love. Grand Velas Los Cabos is hands down the most luxurious all-inclusive I’ve found in Mexico and it’s perfect for a romantic getaway, honeymoon, family vacation, or girls trip.

If you love a gorgeous hotel room, you will not be disappointed when you check into your suite at the Grand Velas Los Cabos. Each suite starts at 1,100 sq feet with inviting private terraces and dreamy ocean views ranging from romantic stays for two or multi-bedroom suites perfect for families.

Whitney and I stayed in one of the pool suites that featured a large balcony with plunge pool overlooking the Sea of Cortez.  The open concept of the room was beyond spacious and serene with ocean-inspired color schemes for a tranquil stay. Best of all, our suite included a huge gorgeous bathroom with a jacuzzi tub large enough for the four of us to sip bubbly in our bikinis after a day at the pool!

After visiting the gorgeous SE Spa at the Grand Velas Los Cabos, it’s no surprise this spa was named an aquatic paradise by Forbes. With over 35,000 square feet, the SE Spa is the ultimate destination for pure relaxation.

We started our treatments with the seven-step water ceremony together (which is included in every treatment) and I can’t rave enough about how amazing this was! After this, I had a blue agave signature massage in the most tranquil treatment room surrounded by elements of nature.

The spa menu offers a wide selection of massages, facials, and treatments and it’s a must when you visit the resort! Trust me, you will not regret it.

The service and staff at Grand Velas Los Cabos is really what takes this luxury resort to the next level. From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted with a glass of Veuve Clicquot and a selection of flavorful (and colorful) caviar to spice up your bubbly. The staff went above and beyond to make our vacation as relaxing as possible, and we definitely appreciated it! 

One of our highlights was the daily poolside surprises from our favorite staff member who dropped by our lounge chairs throughout the day with all sorts of treats ranging from fresh ceviche to spiked popsicles and coconut cocktails. Every treat was unique and flavorful with fresh local ingredients, perfect for elevating a day by the pool! 

In addition, the concierge handled everything for us such as reservations, transportation, and more. The level of service was top notch and made our stay so delightful!

While I could easily spend my entire vacation at Grand Velas without ever leaving, I wanted to share a few of our favorite places to visit during your stay and excursions to add a little adventure into your getaway!

Cruise out to El Arco de Cabo and Land’s End – One of the highlights of our trip was our sunset cruise to El Arco de Cabo. If this is your first time to Cabo, it’s a must – plus the perfect backdrop for vacation photos too! We chartered Craic Yacht for the evening, and the crew made our adventure an absolute blast! Plan a dinner at Flora Farms – Flora Farms is my favorite restaurant in Cabo, and you don’t want to miss it on your trip! Be sure to arrive before sunset to enjoy the charming scenery, shopping, and music before dining.

Spend an evening downtown – While The Office is a bit too much of a party scene for my taste, it’s surrounded by so many fun restaurants and beachside bars for evening cocktails. Cachet Beach Club is so festive with hot pink lounge chairs for sunset drinks, and we had the best meal at Bar Esquina across the street after. While this area gets more attention for it’s party scene, it’s packed with great restaurants and worth a visit!

Schedule a hotel excursion – The hotel offers a wide variety of excursions for guests including snorkeling, scuba diving (my favorite), whale watching, ATV tours, a camel safari (definitely booking this next time), flyboarding, hang gliding, golf, and so much more!
