What’s better than a sunny picnic with our favorite little girls? Recently we spent the day strolling through the Dallas Arboretum followed by a picnic by the lake. We had the best time dressing our little ones and love coordinating their outfits with the event of the day. Since we were going to the arboretum, we chose to dress them in our favorite new smocked pieces from the Feltman Brothers’ Secret Garden Colletion for the perfect photo op!
Since we grew up in the South, smocked dresses, embroidered bubbles, and endless monograms will always be our cup of tea. If you remember our Baptism post, we shared how our mom saved so many of the dresses we wore growing up and how we love dressing our girls in the same pieces! We had so many Feltman Brothers when we were little (all from Northcutt’s on Main in Dothan!), and it’s so fun to see Frances and Caroline in our dresses while building their own new collection too!

Because of our love for classic children’s clothing, it’s no surprise Feltman Brothers is one of our favorite lines to shop for new styles for our daughters! Feltman Brothers was started over 100 years ago (1916!) and features timeless styles with heirloom quality that can be passed down from generation to generation. Aside from how precious they look in their vintage-inspired dresses, I love how we will be able to look back when they’re older and continue to cherish these sweet and classic dresses!
While Frances and Caroline are cousins, we can already tell they will grow up like sisters and be best friends like the three of us! Since they are 7 months apart, I love how Feltman Brothers offers the same smocked designs in different styles – like this bubble for Caroline and this dress for Frances.
Feltman Brothers has more casual styles as well that are great for everyday relaxing around the house too! Check out these cute little knit options that we adore!
