Office to Happy Hour: Chic Wrap Dresses Under $100

Happy Hump Day! As so many readers are back in the office and trading their yoga pants for business attire, I wanted to share a post on what to wear from the office to happy hour! As a full-time blogger, I spend most of the day in athleisure working from home or dressing up for event and gallery openings – but I will say the one thing I miss occasionally about a corporate job is the business attire. When I worked at a commercial real estate firm in Dallas, I lived in wide leg trousers with a blouse or a wrap dress. In fact, the first thing I did after I quit my job was downsize the amount of wrap dresses I owned, but they are the BEST dress to wear to the office. The comfy silhouette and conservative fit looks professional and tailored, but toss a pair of stilettos and statement earrings in your tote and it’s the easiest dress to elevate for Happy Hour with the girls or a networking event. And while I love the look of a pencil skirt and blouse, a wrap dress is much more comfortable for a 9 hour work day!

While I no longer work in a corporate office and have very few occasions that require “business attire”, I still love this look for any occasion – whether it’s Sunday church, a baptism, dinner with the family, a blog event, charity event… you name it!
