One item that’s making a huge comeback this season is the mohair sweater. Though you may remember this from your days in elementary school (Limited Too, anyone?), this fuzzy sweater is the ultimate staple you need in your wardrobe. Not only is it delightfully cozy, it speaks for itself and lessens the need for bold accessories. I paired my cropped mohair sweater with a plaid mini and my favorite platform boots for an ultimate 90s look. Weary about jumping into this trend again? Start easy with a fluffy pastel pullover paired with ripped jeans for an updated weekend look. See how I styled my mohair crop below and shop the links beneath to get my look!

It’s hard to deny that backpacks are anything but practical. I mean, who doesn’t love taking a break from a heavy purse every now and then and tossing all their necessities behind them. Whether it reminds me of my childhood adventures or my first day of school, mini backpacks just bring back happy memories. Though this trend may not be for everyone, I’m beyond thrilled to pull out my Gucci mini backpack I picked up in Cannes years ago. How do you feel about this 90s throwback?

Calling Carrie Bradshaw: MULES ARE BACK! Yes, you heard that correctly – those backless, slide-on heels you graciously gave away early in the millennium have made a comeback this season. Though they may resemble a shoe your grandmother would wear to Christmas dinner, don’t be surprised if you are yearning for the new Fendi mules to pair with a pair of cropped cigarette pants for your next happy hour. Check out some of designers newest mules for this season. I have to say 3.1 Phillip Lim nails it with his bold take on the classic shoe. What do you think?

I bet you never thought you would see the day when Birkenstocks would become trendy again. Though these may not be the prettiest shoes, designers have taken a bold twist of the ever-so-vegan sandal. Love them or hate them, I have to say I’ve been getting a lot of wear out of mine recently (Thanks mom!). Go on, give them a try. Your feet will thank you later.
