As a blonde, I love to have a closet stocked full of browns and neutrals. It’s such an easy color to mix and match in my wardrobe, leading to more outfits with the same pieces! I love this nude pleated dress I picked up this season. The flowy skirt makes this dress so fun and girly, and I topped it off with this vegan leather jacket to add a hint of edge to the classic shaped dress.

This weekend we finally received the snow I’ve been wishing for – well more so an ice storm, but close enough in my book. There’s something so refreshing about the cold air against your cheeks and bundling up in warm, cozy clothes for a few days off of work. The best part about icy weather is the excuse to put the stilettos away for a few days and live in comfy boots! I picked up this Gap wool coat about a week ago, and it is an instant favorite. It kept me warm all day, and the moto zippers added a little edge to the classic plaid pattern. Love it.

It’s hard to deny that backpacks are anything but practical. I mean, who doesn’t love taking a break from a heavy purse every now and then and tossing all their necessities behind them. Whether it reminds me of my childhood adventures or my first day of school, mini backpacks just bring back happy memories.
