When packing for a Caribbean vacation, my suitcase is filled with flowy, comfortable dresses perfect for those casual nights on the beach. It’s the only type of trip where I leave all of my stilettos at home and live solely in wedges and sandals! One of my favorite looks for beach vacations is crochet. I think crochet is such a feminine, yet weather-conscious, style that is forever a classic. I absolutely love this dress I picked up for the trip – not only is it perfect for tropical nights, but I definitely see myself pairing it with a pair of ankle booties and a floppy hat for a Sunday Funday look in Dallas! Best of all? It was less than $30! Such a steal. Check out my Martinique look and shop my pieces below:
As most of you know by now, I’m enjoying my last summer down here on the Florida panhandle before starting the full-time corporate world. One of our favorite roads is 30A, because it’s full of cute beach towns like Watercolor, Seaside, Rosemary Beach, Grayton, and Alys Beach! If you haven’t spent time on the Emerald Coast you definitely need to check it out!
I spent the afternoon in Alys Beach and wore my new Lillybikini and matching cover-up. This tunic-like cover-up is perfect because it covers enough skin to roam around the town, but is also breezy for a day on the beach. I always wear my favorite straw hat when spending time in the sun, because it’s fashionable and functional! What’s your go-to beach day outfit?
There’s nothing better than a long weekend home with the family, and since our home is in Sandestin, FL, we packed up our bags and headed to the coast for Easter. We had so much fun all weekend enjoying our favorite spots like lunch at Barefoot’s Beachside Bar & Grill at the Sandestin Hilton, mimosas at Seaside’sModica Market (they can thank Blair’s weddingfor their record sales weekend), live music in Baytowne Wharf, dinner and dancing at the Ocean Club, and much more. Topping off the vacay was a little shopping spree at the adorable Barefoot Princess in Watercolor– You should definitely stop by next time you are on 30a for our favorite brands likeLilly Pulitzer, Milly,Trina Turk,Ella Moss, and more!! Hope everyone had a wonderful Easter Weekend!
This past week, my friends and I traveled down to Cabo San Lucas to celebrate our senior spring break. Though I am thrilled to begin my engineering career next year, I sure am going to miss all of these wonderful breaks I get to enjoy at SMU!
Since we stayed at a large all-inclusive resort last year in Cabo for our break, a group of girls and I decided to take a different route this year and stayed at a beautiful boutique hotel,Cabo Villas, in the heart of the city. Spending 7 days relaxing on the beach sipping pina coladas was definitely my idea of a perfect vacation!
A large portion of our class was down there as well, so we enjoyed hopping around between different resorts and meeting up at Nikki Beach, The Office, and Mango Deck in the evenings. I also really enjoyed our stroll through the harbor to see all the different yachts lined up in the mornings. Overall, we had an amazing time and I definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a beach vacation.

No beach vacation is complete without a new bikini! I’m loving the new styles of swimwear this season – cut outs, bra tops, one-pieces, ruffles, and more! Check out some of my favorite looks right now:
In celebration of Blair and Peter’s one year anniversary, we wanted to spotlight their beautiful wedding in Seaside, FL last year. The couple was introduced by mutual friends in boarding school before attending SMU, so the perfect wedding was definitely a must for these two after all the years.
Since Peter proposed to Blair in Roaring Gap, NC, they decided a charming beach town near our home in Destin would be the perfect location for the wedding. With the help of their amazing wedding planner, Heather, the weekend was more than a success for everyone.
We hope these two are having a wonderful anniversary trip in Klosters, Switzerland right now! Take a peek at some of the beautiful pictures from the weekend below:
