If you’ve been following us this season, you’ve probably seen Flash Tattoos popping up in our posts and Instagram pictures frequently. If you haven’t heard of them, prepare to become addicted to these sparkly, temporary tattoos that are going to change the way you accessorize this summer! I’ve always been known to over-accessorize on a daily basis, that’s just who I am and it’s too late to change. No day is complete without a stacked arm party, and how can anyone wear a bauble necklace without a fab pair of earrings to top it off?
Flash Tattoos has created the perfect accessory to go with any look for any occasion. Ever since I applied my first tat at the Blaine Bowen Jewelry Launch, I can’t seem to get enough! I’ve always admired the look of a tasteful tattoo, but considering how much I love the ever-changing fashion trends, I know a permanent tattoo would not be the right decision for me. Lasting for four to six days, Flash Tattoos come in a wide variety of styles that add the just the right pop to your look. I love the way each set is sold in a package of three to four sheets, providing the opportunity to double up on designs to give a cool layered look! Whether you choose a detailed necklace design or just a small metallic shape on your wrist, these temporary tattoos are your newest must-have! Go ahead and try them out – Trust us, you will not be disappointed!

This week on Milk & Honey, we decided to style this fabulous pink kimono two ways. Ellen styled hers with acid wash cutoffs and gladiator sandals for a Bohemian-inspired look, while Blair chose a more feminine look by pinning it over as a maxi dress with a pastel bauble necklace. We both paired the kimono with a variation of gladiator heels – our ultimate obsession right now! Check out our looks and be sure to visit Milk & Honey to snag our style!

If you haven’t heard of Blaine Bowen, this is one Texas jewelry line you need to get to know. Started in January of 2013, Blaine Muhl set out to create a collection that combined her love for fashion, art, and philanthropy, and let’s just say she nailed it! We had so much fun at the Blaine Bowen Launch Party at The Ritz Carlton last week getting to know the designer and seeing an up-close look at her newest collections. Since a portion of the proceeds benefitted Paws in the City, we loved shopping the pieces from evil eye bangles to beaded bracelets and Texas shaped rings! The Coachella-themed fete boasted Vogue sketches, flash tattoos (a favorite of ours!), flower crowns, a braiding station, and more! Take a peek at some of our pictures from the amazing event and click here to shop the collection!

I find silk shorts to be one of the most unexpectedly feminine items in fashion right now. There’s something about the way they feel when you have them on that instantly make you feel flirty and girly. These Rebecca Taylor floral silk shorts are a new favorite of mine, and I owe that to the greatest shopper I know – thanks, mom! I decided to pair them with these amazing gladiator heels I picked up last week and this classic Lela Rose blouse for the Blaine Bowen Jewelry party at The Ritz. Try these or these for the look for less!

Thanks Alex for letting us play with sweet Zoe!!
