Bright colors and patterns are what I gravitate towards when shopping, so of course this yellow printed Lilly Pulitzer tank found its way into my closet this summer. Now that I have officially entered the corporate world, I am learning to appreciate the importance of transitional pieces in my closet. Since we attend social events in Dallas almost every single night, I don’t always have time after my commute to stop by my apartment for a wardrobe change. Classic dresses are such a staple in my closet, and by mixing different accessories with the same dress; it’s easy to make one piece appropriate for various occasions!
This LOFT scallop-trimmed shift (similar) is a favorite of mine. I paired it with a J. Crew cardigan, oversized studs, and my Kate Spade chunky pumps for a day at the office, but later changed into my platform Prada pumps, a bold statement necklace, and ditched the cardigan for the Baubles and Blouses event that evening. The Lucky FABB Conference took place on Friday at the SLS Beverly Hills Hotel. It was such a fun way to connect with fashion and beauty bloggers from all over the nation! Eva Chen, editor-in-chief of Lucky Magazine, was the host of the conference, and we were very impressed by her demeanor throughout the interview. Guest speakers for the event included Nicole Richie, Coco Rocha, Sophia Amoruso (Blair’s favorite), Karolina Kurkova, January Jones, Wendy Nguyen, and many others. We gained so many blogging tips about everything from SEO to social media to upcoming fashion and beauty trends. The presenting sponsors for Lucky FABB were Lucky Magazine, P&G Beauty, Covergirl, Olay, Pantene, and Secret. I can’t even begin to explain how much fun we had at the conference with all of our new friends!
