What I love most about fashion is the ever-changing fashion trends, but how certain styles always come back around. One of my favorite decades of style would be the sixties – whether it be the cigarette pants, the feminine dresses, or perhaps the teased hair, but so many of these classic styles still influence our wardrobe today! Cigarette trousers are such a favorite of mine! They are so sophisticated and chic and can be worn for so many occasions. I paired mine with a striped chiffon blouse, a pearl statement necklace, and cork heels for a put-together afternoon look.

Comfort is definitely my key motivator for getting dressed on my days off of work, so I love finding soft, oversized pieces that are easy to toss on for a casual yet chic look. This Milk & Honey sweatshirt is a new favorite of mine, and I see this becoming a staple for my Fall look. I’ve always been slightly weary of hats on myself, but when I found this gray floppy hat (similar) it was love at first sight! Happy 1st birthday to The Perennial Style! I cannot believe it has already been one full year since we started this fashion blogging journey. Thanks to all of our followers and supporters throughout this past year. It has been such a blast! When it comes to birthdays, what better way to celebrate than by donning a wardrobe of sparkles and shine! I plan on rocking these fabulous (and affordable) earrings from Bauble Bar, cheersing with these contemporary glasses from Z Gallerie, lusting over this Philip Armstrong skater dress, and topping it off with some neon pink lipstick – my weakness, of course.
