Trend Alert: Body Chains

Move over statement necklaces, there’s a new accessory trend that’s bolder than ever! Body chains are one of the hottest new accessories this season, and let’s just say I am becoming obsessed. Though I originally purchased my body chain to wear in the summer paired with a bikini, layering it over my outfits for a night out is just as fun! Though there are a variety of styles available, this dainty gold chain is the perfect accessory for any look. Similar to ear cuffs, temp tats, and hand chains, body chains are an edgy trend I dare you to try.

EVENT RECAP: Crest 3D White & Elle Party

Crest 3D White has teamed up with Elle Magazine to show that a pearly white smile is just as important as any fashion accessory or beauty product a girl can own! We had such a fabulous time attending the Crest and Elle Party, Cocktails & Smilestyle, at the Joule Hotel in Dallas last week. The party was on the 5th floor patio of the hotel overlooking downtown Dallas and the new Eye. It was such a glamorous event where fashion bloggers from all over the city gathered to mingle and celebrate, while a lip reader (yes, lip reader) told you everything you needed to know just through the shape of your pucker! Lucky FABB: Networking Brunch

The Lucky FABB Conference ended with a lovely networking brunch with all of our new fashion blogger friends at the SLS Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday morning. We had so much fun meeting all the girls and cannot wait until we can attend our next conference! When I think of a navy dress and a denim jacket, the word classic comes to mind. Despite all the fads that come and go, these are two items that always remain in style. What I love most about this look is this After Pant’s Paris jacket I snagged at Gregory’s a couple years ago. The jacket maintains the same all-American look of denim, but the padded shoulders gives it an updated twist – see this similar one I found for the look for less. I paired it with this fun and flirty seamed skirt dress for drinks in the Arts District with a girlfriend.

Happy Anniversary To The Butlers: Blair & Peter’s Seaside Wedding

In celebration of Blair and Peter’s one year anniversary, we wanted to spotlight their beautiful wedding in Seaside, FL last year. The couple was introduced by mutual friends in boarding school before attending SMU, so the perfect wedding was definitely a must for these two after all the years.

Since Peter proposed to Blair in Roaring Gap, NC, they decided a charming beach town near our home in Destin would be the perfect location for the wedding. With the help of their amazing wedding planner, Heather, the weekend was more than a success for everyone.
