PS for M&H: One Shirt, Three Ways

PS for M&H: One Shirt, Three Ways

For three sisters (or best friends) who are constantly borrowing clothes from each other’s closets, it only made sense for us to finally do a post on one piece three ways. We’ve collaborated with Milk & Honey to bring you a series of posts to show you how one item can be styled to fit any style or occasion. Since this is a normal occurrence in our household, we were thrilled to get involved. Now various people have various ideas of what a “neutral” color is, so let’s start off by saying any shade of pink is a neutral in our book! This magenta v-neck blouse is hands down the perfect staple for our closet. Janie decided to style the blouse with a pair of printed silk shorts for a casual look, while Ellen paired it with a black and white striped skort perfect for a night out. For a more festive occasion, Blair paired her blouse with a sequin skirt and statement necklace to add a little glitz and glam. See how each of us styled this must-have blouse below and check out Milk & Honey to steal all of our looks:

SJP Meets Carrie Bradshaw

SJP Meets Carrie Bradshaw

The fact is, sometimes it’s hard to walk in a single woman’s shoes. That’s why we need really special ones now and then – to make the walk a little more fun” – Carrie Bradshaw

SJP shoes 3

When I think of fabulous shoes, the one and only Carrie Bradshaw comes to mind. For the woman who introduced the world to Manolo Blahnik, it would only make sense that her first shoe collection would be in collaboration with Manolo – Yes ladies, you heard that correctly, Sarah Jessica Parker is launching her very own shoe collection! The line, SJP, in collaboration with George Malkemus (of Manolo Blahnik) and Nordstrom is set to launch exclusively in selected Nordstrom stores on February 28. SJP strives to reinvent colors as neutrals, giving your look an energetic yet sophisticated update. Gayle King and Adam Glassman of O, The Oprah Magazine, got an inside scoop of the new collection, and let’s just say I cannot wait to get my hands on a pair! Take a peek at the video:

If you haven’t heard already, Banana Republic has teamed up with the AMAZING Issa London to bring an affordable collection to Banana Republic stores. If Issa London doesn’t ring a bell, I’m sure the famous sapphire dress Kate Middleton wore for her engagement announcement will! To top it off, the stunning blue dress is a part of this collaboration. The collection embodies a contemporary yet conservative theme with wrap dresses, sweaters, fun prints, and more. Celebs too have fallen for the Issa London + Banana Republic pieces –  Take a peek at some of my favorite celebrity looks:
