My go-to look on a cool Fall day is always a cozy sweater, jeans, and a classic pair of boots. LL Bean boots have been a casual style staple of mine ever since my days at boarding school, and I love pulling them out of the back of my closet as soon as the temperature takes that first big drop! Though they are perfect for snow and rain, that doesn’t stop me from wearing them on a perfectly sunny yet chilly day around the city! As the days become shorter with Fall and we start to see less sunshine, I like to add a little yellow into my wardrobe. Though yellow is often seen as a bright summer hue, a more subdued yellow is one of my favorite colors for the season. I love this JOA sweater I found at Milk & Honey, and I paired a classic Polo button-down underneath for a classic yet trendy update to add a little depth to the cable knit. As much as I love following all of the new trends, a classic style is definitely my go-to look. See how I styled my look and shop the links to snag my outfit:

One color I always find myself gravitating towards is gray. Whether it’s because my middle name is Gray or because it’s a muted shade of the ever-so-fabulous black, gray is one neutral I can never have enough of. Pairing different shades of the same hue is such an easy and chic way of color coordinating, so I paired this leather jacket with a charcoal pencil skirt for an updated work look. As much as I love a good mini, I am so excited about the longer hemlines emerging this season! Take a look at my gray on gray look and shop the links below to steal my look:

My weekend uniform in the Fall is definitely a sweater, jeans, and boots. It’s easy, cozy, and perfectly casual for weekend wear. I love finding cozy casuals with a bit of embellishment for an added accessory, without having to pile on the jewelry. This embellished sweater I snagged recently is such an updated basic, and pairing it with my new coated jeans was an easy look for a chilly weekend afternoon in the city. When I think of dressing for Fall, I instantly think of sweaters, dark colors, boots, scarves, etc. Unfortunately for those of us living in Dallas, this crazy warm weather does not work with these cozy favorites! Finding an alternative style to channel the Fall is easy by combining the right pieces and color tones. I paired my lightweight tan vest (also seen here) with denim cutoffs and a dark hat that I snagged at Willow Boutique in Rosemary Beach for a casual October look. See how I gave a seasonal update on my favorite cutoffs and stayed cool during these warm Fall days:
