Black x White

Black x White

This season I am all about crop tops. I just can’t seem to get enough of these for Spring, which is why I am loving this Peter Pilotto for Target crop top I picked up last week. I thought the black and white pattern was perfectly retro when paired with these round sunnies, and I added this orange cross-body bag for a fun pop of color. A good tip to remember when wearing crop tops is to pair it with a high-waist bottom to ensure too much skin isn’t showing. I am also a huge fan of vintage shopping, so when I spotted this vintage leather pencil skirt I knew it was a must for my wardrobe and the perfect skirt for this top. What Spring trends are you loving this year?

One of my favorite wardrobe staples would have to be my Barbour coat. What I love most about this coat is the classic shape that will forever be in style. Normally I pair it with jeans and boots for a sporty Fall look, but I paired it with a casual dress and my favorite ankle booties for a sunny afternoon in Deep Ellum this past weekend. In celebration of the 30th anniversary of David Yurman’s signature Renaissance cable bracelet, a new line of aluminum cable bracelets are launching in stores tomorrow. Ever since I received my very first Yurman bangle in boarding school (thanks, mom!), I rarely go a day without wearing my stacked collection. When I heard about the limited edition aluminum bangles, I was more than excited. The cable bracelets normally start around $550, but the aluminum collection is priced at only $350 each! Available in a variety of colors, these bracelets are the perfect gift for any loved one. What do you think of the limited edition collection?

11 Things Every Fashionable Woman Should Have By 30

11 Things Every Fashionable Woman Should Have By 30

As we’ve said before, we are big believers of investment pieces. As much as we love the trends that come and go, there’s nothing better than a solid investment piece that will last through the years. I can confidently say my YSL Muse and my Louboutins will stay with me forever, but I’m not quite sure if I can say the same about my wedge sneakers. We stumbled across this article 11 Things Every Fashionable Woman Should Have By 30 on the Harper’s Bazaar site, and we thought it was too good not to share!

Seeing Pink Elephants

Seeing Pink Elephants

I believe there’s something about the color pink that makes the world a better place, which is obviously why I am head over heels for this pink moto jacket I picked up at Gap (try this similar option). The shape and hue of this jacket add the perfect pop to even the simplest outfit, and I’m trying my hardest NOT to wear it every single day. For a casual Sunday in the Arts District, I paired it with my favorite Lauren Moshi elephant tee (for a hint of good luck) and my J Brand Love Story Flares.
