Happy Friday! I wanted to share with you all the newest addition to my shoe collection – the Christian Louboutin Pitou! As I’ve said before, I’m a bit of a shoe addict and Louboutin is my favorite. I just can’t help it. Even though the heel is 5.5 inches, it’s surprisingly comfortable! It’s the perfect mix between a sandal and a bootie, so the opportunities to wear them are endless. I recommend you add these to your must-have list!

Catch Me If You Can: A movie that makes you feel like you’ve boarded a Greyhound Bus to travel the country every time you take a look at today’s hideous flight attendant uniforms. Ill-fitting frumpy suits and chunky one-inch pumps… What ever happened to the glamour and style of the old-school flight attendants we see in the movies? It’s time for a change!
Richard Branson, founder of Virgin Airlines, is the man we can thank for this change! Branson has collaborated with Vivienne Westwood (a woman who needs no introduction) to redesign the flight attendant uniform. Women will wear Westwood’s iconic red suit influenced by 1940’s French couture, nipped at the waist with double pleats. The men’s uniform will be a new version of the 3-piece burgundy suit originally made famous by London’s Saville Row. Peanuts anyone?
The new uniforms will be tested later this summer and will launch in early 2014. Say hello to flying in style!

I don’t know about you, but I have always hated shopping for prescription eyeglasses. It seems as if all of the trendy glasses are overpriced and all of the affordable glasses are ugly. Buy a Pair, Give a Pair. Warby Parker recognized that 15% of the global population lacks access to eyeglasses, which seriously hinders one’s opportunity to learn. Embracing a similar philosophy as Toms Shoes, Warby Parker has collaborated with non-profits, such as VisionSpring, to donate one pair of glasses to someone in need for each pair sold. If that doesn’t motivate you to shop with them, I don’t know what will!
For those of you living in New York City, be sure to stop by their new brick-and-mortar location in the Cast Iron District. If you have ever been to Vail, Aspen, Beaver Creek, Banff, Snowmass, or Keystone then you are sure to have enjoyed some window shopping at Gorsuch. It is the most beautiful store, and there is no possible way to walk past without stopping for a glimpse. The good news is, if you don’t head to Colorado very often they have a great online site as well as catalogues to come right to your door. I would be the happiest girl ever if I could have everything from their home goods, to ski clothes, to everyday wear!
