Last fall I was fortunate enough to be a part of the grand opening of the Diane Von Furstenberg store in Highland Park Village. As she paraded in, we were drawing in crowds chanting “DVF, be the woman you want to be.” This chant fits her line of wrap dresses very well because I have found that a wrap dress can fit any occasion from business casual to a cocktail party. Every girl should have at least one wrap dress because they are flattering on all body types and will be a classic look that lasts forever! Below are a few of my favorite wrap dresses of the season.

As I’ve expressed before, I am OBSESSED with leather at the moment. This is one of the reasons I was beyond excited to preview C.M.J.’s newest line. C.M.J. has been creating handmade Italian leather garments for over 20 years and has become a favorite of many Hollywood stars. Check out some of the pictures from the show and let us know what you think!

Still think mixing prints is a no-no? Well Stella Jean is here to change your mind! Last night I was lucky enough to score seats to the Italian Fashion Week fashion show in Dallas to get a sneak peak of Stella Jean’s newest line. The Hatian-Italian model-turned-designer stole my heart with her newest collection which featured a wide array of prints and styles, combining haute couture with classic lines. Here are some of my favorite looks from the runway. What do you think?

When it comes to dressing up, I like to add a little edge to my outfit. I fell in love with this studded blouse as soon as I saw it. The white chiffon material keeps it feminine, while the studs toughen it up a little. Mix it with these awesome coated hunter green shorts, and you are good to go. Best part of all of it? The outfit was a complete steal!

Inspired by the elaborate and royal styles of the European 17th century, Baroque makes a comeback into this season’s fashion scene. Be on the lookout for overly ornate detailing, jewel encrusted pieces, velvets, metallics, brocade jackets, and lots and lots of tassels! My favorite look of the moment: try a gold threaded brocade blazer with a pair of skinny leather pants and platform ankle boots. Toss on a couple gold bangles and you are good to go! What’s your favorite baroque look?
