For a night out at the Winspear Opera House with the family, I decided to wear my new metallic jacquard skirt I picked up from the Simply Stylist sample sale at the W a couple weeks ago. Paired with a J Crew wool sweater and my favorite Milly peacoat, it was such an easy way to dress up for the holidays while remaining comfy and warm in the freezing weather. I have fallen head over heels for all of the fabulous new minis this season – I might have to snag this, this, and this one too!

This past weekend, my family and I saw the Nutcracker at the Dallas Winspear Opera house on Friday night. It was such a fun and festive performance that I highly recommend to anyone in the Dallas area. I wore my favorite Alice + Olivia green dress with some sparkly baubles and topped it off my ombre fur coat to conquer the chilly weather.
