Though we may not have little ones of our own yet, there’s no denying that this is the cutest collaboration we have seen! One of our favorite swimwear designers, Mara Hoffman, has collaborated with J Crew to add a boho twist to your child’s summer attire. Inspired by the “mythology and mysticism of India”, the collection boasts a mix of wild patterns and styles to dress only the coolest kids on the block. Mini harem pants and rompers? Talk about a trendy tot! The collection is available online here – Take a peek at the Mara Hoffman for Crewcuts styles yourself. There’s no way you resist!

Trends may come and go, but when it comes to my style I will forever love the classic preppy look. I could live in this Polo button down, and layering it with my J Crew vest is such an easy look for an afternoon outfit.

This weekend we finally received the snow I’ve been wishing for – well more so an ice storm, but close enough in my book. There’s something so refreshing about the cold air against your cheeks and bundling up in warm, cozy clothes for a few days off of work. The best part about icy weather is the excuse to put the stilettos away for a few days and live in comfy boots! I picked up this Gap wool coat about a week ago, and it is an instant favorite. It kept me warm all day, and the moto zippers added a little edge to the classic plaid pattern. Love it.

For a night out at the Winspear Opera House with the family, I decided to wear my new metallic jacquard skirt I picked up from the Simply Stylist sample sale at the W a couple weeks ago. Paired with a J Crew wool sweater and my favorite Milly peacoat, it was such an easy way to dress up for the holidays while remaining comfy and warm in the freezing weather. I have fallen head over heels for all of the fabulous new minis this season – I might have to snag this, this, and this one too!

This past weekend, my family and I saw the Nutcracker at the Dallas Winspear Opera house on Friday night. It was such a fun and festive performance that I highly recommend to anyone in the Dallas area. I wore my favorite Alice + Olivia green dress with some sparkly baubles and topped it off my ombre fur coat to conquer the chilly weather.
