This past weekend, my family and I saw the Nutcracker at the Dallas Winspear Opera house on Friday night. It was such a fun and festive performance that I highly recommend to anyone in the Dallas area. I wore my favorite Alice + Olivia green dress with some sparkly baubles and topped it off my ombre fur coat to conquer the chilly weather.

When it comes to style, I think you can never have enough black. It’s such a versatile color and is effortlessly chic. I mixed our Karen Millen jacket with this embellished top to add a touch of femininity to the edgy bomber look.

When it comes to vintage jewelry, I have to say the designs of the 60s would be my top pick. Clearly I’m not alone on this, since designers have started to replicate some of the bold styles from the decade. Designers were learning the ins and outs of creating gemstone look-alikes, which led to a huge surge in the popularity of costume jewelry. Check out some of my favorite 60s-inspired pieces below. Toss these on with a simple garment, and your outfit is instantly glammed up!
