Finding a blouse to wear in the Dallas summer heat isn’t always easy, which is why I’m loving this paisley flowy blouse I picked up at Milk & Honey. The cut out sleeves and open-back make it airy and lightweight, perfect for a summer Texas night! Something about this top reminded me of the 70s, so I paired it with my Lovestory flares and my favorite aviators to top off the vibe. Every now and then I like to dig through my closet and pull out pieces I haven’t worn in a while and give them a second chance. You’ve heard me say before skinny jeans are not my cup of tea, but when I got this new tie dye flowy tank from Milk & Honey, I knew my zip-side Serfontaine skinnys (similar) with my favorite Gianmarco Lorenzi platforms (try these look for less platforms – LOVE!) would be the perfect way to dress this top up for a night out. I also added this awesome boho coin statement necklace for bold pop against the turquoise. I have to say I loved the skinnys more than I remembered, so I’ll definitely be wearing these again soon. Recently I have been on a total romper kick. They have such a playful and flirty look, and not to mention they are the easiest thing to toss on for a night out! Comfort is definitely my key motivator for getting dressed on my days off of work, so I love finding soft, oversized pieces that are easy to toss on for a casual yet chic look. I have come to decide that crop tops are my favorite item for any occasion. There are so many different shapes and varieties available this season, so the opportunities to style them are endless! Right now I have a tendency to gravitate more towards zip-back crop tops, as they generally have a more structured or intricate shape than the classic pullover crop.
