As three social media and fashion addicts, we are more than excited to announce that we’ve been chosen as one of Dallas Tidbits and Neiman Marcus’ first-ever Dallas It Girls of Instagram this year – and we are inviting YOU to come celebrate with us!
Next Thursday (March 19th) from 6-8PM we will be toasting champagne and styling our favorite CUSP picks with five other fashionable Dallas ladies at the iconic Downtown Neiman Marcus location! With mini beauty treatments, a live DJ, Sprinkles cupcakes, a photo booth (our fav), and more, this is one event you don’t want to miss! Visit Tidbits to RSVP for the event, as well as to vote for us as your pick ;) Hope to see you all there!!

Elizabeth Hurley & Leonard Lauder
This past Wednesday, I had an incredible experience at the Estee Lauder event at Neiman Marcus NorthPark to unveil the new Estee Lauder shop within the store. After a successful 64 year partnership, Leonard Lauder graced Dallas with his presence at this unveiling to share a little history of the company and to showcase the Estee Lauder compact museum, which has only been displayed once prior. Leonard was accompanied by company spokeswoman Elizabeth Hurley, who was even sweeter and more beautiful in person than one could imagine! Since Neiman Marcus is Leonard’s favorite department stores by far, he debuted his newest lipstick exclusive to the store – Neiman Marcus Red. Leaving the event with a hand signed gift bag from Mr. Lauder filled with the exclusive lipstick and an engraved compact with my initials was the perfect keepsake from such a special event. To share a bit of Texas with this power duo, Leonard was given a cowboy hat and Elizabeth received a bouquet of yellow roses. Take a look at our pictures from the event and be sure to stop by the newest shop this weekend!

#rSthecon – rewardStyle’s “The Conference” took place in Dallas this past weekend, and we were so excited that we were able to attend this year. The Conference was held at the Joule Hotel and was one of the most fabulous events we have attended yet. Friday morning we gathered at the Joule to meet with 22 brands (such as Piperlime, Kendra Scott, Nordstrom, French Connection, ASOS, Nasty Gal, and plenty more!) to learn more about their brand and how they worked with bloggers. Lunch was held at the original Neiman Marcus downtown, which was complete with everything pink and feminine! Later that evening we all met downtown at The Eye for a picture-perfect happy hour hosted by Kate Spade. Day 1 was definitely a success, and we had so much fun with all of our new blogger friends!

We all gathered at the Joule again on Saturday morning for a full day of meetings to learn more about the industry. The rewardStyle speakers were so informative, and we were so excited for all of the new tips and information we took away from the day! Lunch was hosted on the terrace by Express, where we got an inside look into their new runway campaign (keep an eye out for Kate Uptown next season!). That night, we were so excited to be a part of The Outnet’s 5th Anniversary party at St. Ann in uptown and loved seeing the premiere of their new video campaign starring Amber Venz of Venzedits, Wendy of Wendy’s Lookbook, Helena of Brooklyn Blonde, Jessica of Tuula Vintage, and Aimee of Song of Style.

Since so many bloggers traveled from all over the world to come to Dallas for the conference, the weekend was wrapped up with a full Texas experience luncheon on Sunday – and what better place than Southfork Ranch where “Dallas” is filmed! With live country music, corn hole, a bloody mary bar, mechanical bull, and a hay ride (which was an absolute blast), the afternoon was such a perfect way to conclude a fashionable and fabulous weekend! Be sure to check out our instagram for more pictures from the event. Let the countdown to next year’s conference begin! xo

Practicality is never a strong influence when it comes to women’s fashion. The look is always the leading factor, which is exactly why the new long vest serves solely as a fashion statement. Most people choose a knee-length coat not only because it’s chic, but also because it serves a purpose – to keep you warm on a cold day. The long vest was created to turn even the drabbest outfits into an easy and sophisticated look, without considering the impact of the weather while looking fab. Whether designers choose a structured take on the vest like Vince or a flowy version like Missoni, the long vest is an absolute must.

Though temperatures are below freezing in Dallas today, I can’t stop dreaming of my new Spring wardrobe. Designers are bringing a loud splash of pink into their collections, so get ready for a fresh pop of color onto some of your favorite pieces. These hot pink YSL Tributes are calling my name! What more could a girl ask for?
