This past weekend, my family and I saw the Nutcracker at the Dallas Winspear Opera house on Friday night. It was such a fun and festive performance that I highly recommend to anyone in the Dallas area. I wore my favorite Alice + Olivia green dress with some sparkly baubles and topped it off my ombre fur coat to conquer the chilly weather.

Move over Christian, there is a new Gray in the spotlight. Meet Gray Malin: a Dallas native with an impressive resume stretching from Emerson College in Boston to working for the president of Paramount Pictures as well as being featured in the Dallas Museum of Art. I fell in love with Malin’s work a while back when I saw his famous Prada Marfa piece, and ever since he has been a favorite of mine. Malin’s work has been featured internationally in magazines such as Marie Claire, The London Observer, Elle Men, The Huffington Post, and many more. It’s clear to see his passion for creativity and traveling through his works. Take a look at some of my favorites and click here to shop his collection online:

For all of you guys out there, click here to check out these Gray Malin + Orlebar Brown swim trunks. I only wish they made bikinis!

When sky-high heels swept the runway, I jumped with joy. The higher the better! This is precisely why I am not 100% thrilled with the newest trend: heels lower than 3 inches. This could mean a return of the awkward kitten heel – SHIELD YOUR EYES! Yes, I understand they are probably more comfortable, but they just seem way too practical to me. Take a peek at some of designer’s newest heels:

Prada

Miu Miu

Valentino
Chloe
Manolo Blahnik

Tory Burch
Now these are some low-heeled sandals I wouldn’t mind in my closet to wear with a pair jean shorts and a flowy white tank for casual summer days:

Fendi
Elizabeth and James
7 For All Mankind
Will you be adding low heels to your wardrobe this season?
