After what feels like the longest winter we’ve ever experienced in Dallas, I am more than excited to finally pull out my Spring tops and bright colors for these sunny days. Lilly Pulitzer is always my favorite designer for fun patterns and classic shapes, and this new Lilly top I picked up at Barefoot Princess on 30A is definitely going to become one of my go-to’s for the season. The shirtdress has always been a timeless classic, so we believe this is one item every woman needs to invest in for her wardrobe. Finding the right shape and fit is very important to keep a feminine look, which is why we love these classic shirtdresses by Kiki Lynn. Kiki Lynn, created by Kimberly McKinley in the summer of 2014, is an American lifestyle brand that represents a timeless and effortless style.
Since the three of us all have a similar style with our own twist, we each styled this classic in an individual way that best fit our personal style. Blair wore her
shirtdress with a
white pea coat,
burberry scarf, and flat boots for a casual weekend look to roam around the city while being comfortable and chic! Janie paired
her dress with Christian Louboutin pumps and a neverfull tote for a trendy office to happy hour look. Ellen layered an oversized gray sweater with booties and a statement necklace as an edgy twist on the
dress, and later wrapped the sweater around her waist for a sportier look.
We absolutely love the versatility of this dress, and definitely consider it an item everyone needs in their closet! Visit the
Kiki Lynn website to shop the collections!

As the days become shorter with Fall and we start to see less sunshine, I like to add a little yellow into my wardrobe. Though yellow is often seen as a bright summer hue, a more subdued yellow is one of my favorite colors for the season. I love this JOA sweater I found at Milk & Honey, and I paired a classic Polo button-down underneath for a classic yet trendy update to add a little depth to the cable knit. As much as I love following all of the new trends, a classic style is definitely my go-to look. See how I styled my look and shop the links to snag my outfit:

Though my style is mainly influenced by bold or edgy pieces, occasionally I find myself channeling the styles of Blair and Janie by adding a little Lilly into my look. Since jumpsuits are my favorite (see here, here, or here), this Lilly jumpsuit made it’s way home with me from my last visit to Barefoot Princess in Watercolor, FL. I love the bold print on this piece, and of course the insanely comfortable silhouette! See how I styled mine and check out my other jumpsuit picks below:

Bright colors and patterns are what I gravitate towards when shopping, so of course this yellow printed Lilly Pulitzer tank found its way into my closet this summer. Yellow is such a fun and happy color, so what better way to start my day off with positive vibes than with this vibrant preppy tank I found this summer at Barefoot Princess! I paired this top with my favorite lace Lilly shorts, which have become such an easy and feminine alternative to my classic J Crew shorts.
