Trendy Travel Outfit

When it comes to traveling, comfort is definitely my primary focus for dressing. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I see people venturing through the airport looking like they just rolled out of bed in their pajama pants and a college tee. With all of the cozy-chic pieces readily available in retail stores, I think it’s time we all put that look to rest. Whether you choose a great pair of stretch jeans, trendy joggers, chic sneakers, or a classic Vince tee, your travel look will be updated in a snap.

For my recent travel experience, I picked up a new pair of DL1961 stretch skinnys for the journey and paired them with an oversized Free People thermal. I tossed on my favorite floppy hat to give that “put together” look, my floppy combat boots to save my soles from heels, and my favorite leather messenger bag for all of my travel goodies. Check out my travel look and shop some of my favorite cozy looks below for your next journey:

romper and leather bandeau

Pink has and will always be my favorite color, so it’s safe to say I’m a happy camper when I find the perfect pink piece to add to my wardrobe. I’ve mentioned before that I think rompers are such an easy and comfortable dress alternative (see here), so this Milk and Honey romper was ultimately a must when I found it. To keep the romper from hanging too low on me, I paired an awesome leather bandeau underneath – I totally recommend adding one of these to your closet. It’s such an easy way to add a punch to your look, and I plan on pairing it with a high waist skirt as well for a nighttime look. Giraffe Print Outfit
As I have said time and again, matching separates are my style weakness of the moment (seen here and here), so of course a new matching Missguided crop and wrap mini would be my go-to for celebrating my 25th birthday this past weekend with all of my amazing friends! I discovered Missguided earlier this year at the rewardStyle Conference and instantly fell in love with the collection. The pieces are so affordable for the quality, and I love the way that if I find a piece I love (like this dress), I can order it in other prints (like this or this)! I paired my giraffe print look with my favorite Gianmarco Lorenzi slingbacks and some bold gold accessories, like this ultra-fab fringe anklet – yes, revisiting the 90s anklets. Take a look at how I styled my set and visit their site to see more of this fun collection!

PS for M&H: One Blazer, Two Ways

One of the easiest ways to complete a look is to toss on a blazer. It’s effortless, but gives just the touch needed to make an outfit appear put-together. We are loving these colorful blazers we found at Milk & Honey. The light and comfortable fabric is the perfect weight for a cool summer day. Blair paired her blazer with a t-shirt dress, Lilly scarf, and a pair of wedges for a feminine and preppy look. Ellen wore hers with her new favorite acid-wash cutoffs, gray tee, and booties for an edgier look. We love pieces that can be styled in multiple ways for any occasion, so this blazer is definitely a must for us! Visit Milk & Honey to shop our looks!

The Look for Less: Spikes

The Look for Less: Spikes

If you thought the spike trend was over, think again. Christian Louboutin is keeping the spikes alive once again this season with new styles of heels, pumps, and boots to make your mouth water. For those of you who want the look without the heavy price tag, check out these similar flats I found online below. Either style you choose is bound to make a statement with your next daily ensemble.
