One of my favorite wardrobe staples would have to be my Barbour coat. What I love most about this coat is the classic shape that will forever be in style. When it comes to closet staples, blazers are definitely at the top of my list. From the office to a night out, a blazer can add just the touch your outfit needs for any occasion. The oversize shape and gold buttons on this wool blazer I snagged at Saks years ago (try this or this for a similar look) give a casual twist on the traditional jacket, which I absolutely love.

They always say home is where the heart is, and I’m proud to say my heart is in Texas (can’t believe I’ve lived here 8 years!)– which is one of the reasons why I love my new Home T. Home T’s were designed not only as a way to showcase your state pride, but also as a way to give back since a portion of every shirt is donated to the National Multiple Sclerosis Society at the end of every quarter. I paired this ultra-soft tee with my favorite Vince leather jacket, colored skinnys, and my ankle boots (seen here) for a casual outing in the Arts District this weekend.

One of my favorite looks for Fall is monochromatic matching. When I found this skirt I knew I would be able to get so much wear out of it this season. The length is perfect for work, but the fit and flare shape makes the perfect transition from 9-5 to Happy Hour. My favorite part about this look is the mix of new with vintage pieces. As I’ve said before I am big on investment pieces. This Gucci bit handbag below was purchased by my grandmother in New York in her 20s, but the quality of the leather remains unchanged to this day. Since the bag was such a classic shape, you can buy this nearly identical one today!
