One of my biggest weaknesses when it comes to shopping is the unnecessarily large amount of winter coats I decide I “need” to own. Though Dallas is rarely cold enough to actually wear all of these coats, Janie and I found it necessary to rent out a storage unit simply for our winter coats and furs… yes, this is a problem. Anyways, in my opinion, a trendy winter coat is the easiest way to look chic and put together, all while staying warm!
One of my newest favorites is this leather and fur trimmed wool coat, which is the perfect mix of classic and edgy. Since these upcoming months are slammed with traveling, this is the perfect coat to pack for trips to toss on over jeans or a fun dress for a walk around the city. One trend we cannot stop craving this season is definitely leather. If you haven’t heard the tragic news yet, Barneys New York in NorthPark announced yesterday it will be closing its doors in April 2013. The good news is, we have a solid 6 months of shopping until closing day (and hopefully in April we will get some great items on sale!).
