When packing for a Caribbean vacation, my suitcase is filled with flowy, comfortable dresses perfect for those casual nights on the beach. It’s the only type of trip where I leave all of my stilettos at home and live solely in wedges and sandals! One of my favorite looks for beach vacations is crochet. I think crochet is such a feminine, yet weather-conscious, style that is forever a classic. I absolutely love this dress I picked up for the trip – not only is it perfect for tropical nights, but I definitely see myself pairing it with a pair of ankle booties and a floppy hat for a Sunday Funday look in Dallas! I am sure you have already heard about the miracles of dry shampoo, but finding a good one is not an easy task (like the time Janie tried the blonde Bumble and Bumble powder that turned the bathtub black afterwards… no thanks), so after years of searching we have finally found our top two: Oscar Blandi and Pssssst. When it comes to dressing up, I like to add a little edge to my outfit. I fell in love with this studded blouse as soon as I saw it. The white chiffon material keeps it feminine, while the studs toughen it up a little. Mix it with these awesome coated hunter green shorts, and you are good to go. Best part of all of it? The outfit was a complete steal!
