A bold print on a classic shape is one of my favorite ways to add a little pop into my look. I love investing in designer pieces that will not go out of style, but can still be dressed up or dressed down depending on the occasion. Last night I paired one of my favorite Lela Rose dresses with a bold statement necklace, a classic black stiletto, and a bright orange clutch to pull out the warm tones of the fabric for the Red Cross YPA kickoff party at Hotel ZaZa. Check out my look from the event and shop some of my favorite printed shifts below!

Wrap blouses are a classic and feminine trend that works well on every figure and can be worn on any occasion. I snagged this Nasty Gal wrap blouse before my trip, and it has definitely gotten its fair shares of wear since then! The feminine fabric makes it the perfect top to dress up or dress down, and I loved pairing it with distressed denim cutoffs for a casual look around the city. When the term “shift dress” comes to mind I immediately imagine a conservative and classic structured dress. Though this is often the case, I have developed a new obsession with Missguided’s shift dress section (well.. all of their dresses for that matter), which contain a wide array of styles from classic to modern, structured to slouchy. This checked shift I snagged for my recent trip is one of my newest favorites. The shape is extremely comfortable and perfect for those relaxed afternoons, and the shirt sleeve tie waist totally embraces my favorite 90s trend. I paired this dress with my platform boots and mirrored aviators for a casual daytime look. See how I styled my checked dress and shop some of my favorite shifts below!

One trend we cannot stop craving this season is definitely leather. Whether you choose a full-on leather look like Ellen or decide to add subtle hints into your look like I did, leather will definitely give your look a simple yet bold kick for Fall. Finding an awesome pair of jeans at an incredible price is often a rarity, so when I found these distressed leather-trimmed skinnys, I knew I had to have them. I paired them with my leather-trimmed top and my Gorjana earrings for a fun birthday night look! See how I styled this bold trend below and shop my links beneath to steal my look:

When it comes to traveling, comfort is definitely my primary focus for dressing. One of my biggest pet peeves is when I see people venturing through the airport looking like they just rolled out of bed in their pajama pants and a college tee. With all of the cozy-chic pieces readily available in retail stores, I think it’s time we all put that look to rest. Whether you choose a great pair of stretch jeans, trendy joggers, chic sneakers, or a classic Vince tee, your travel look will be updated in a snap.
For my recent travel experience, I picked up a new pair of DL1961 stretch skinnys for the journey and paired them with an oversized Free People thermal. I tossed on my favorite floppy hat to give that “put together” look, my floppy combat boots to save my soles from heels, and my favorite leather messenger bag for all of my travel goodies. Check out my travel look and shop some of my favorite cozy looks below for your next journey:
