One item that I never leave at home when packing for a trip is a soft gray tee. It’s by far the most versatile item in my closet and always step one for a day of layering. For a cozy mountain day look, I layered an oversized gray blazer (also worn here) over my tee with some over-the-knee boots, jeans, and a classic gray beanie. Shearling is one textile I love adding to my closet during the winter months, and this Ella Moss vest is quite the update from the Ugg phenomenon back in the day. With the ever-changing weather in Dallas, a vest is the perfect way to dress for chilly days! As much as I love the classic fur vest, this shearling look is a fresh and easy way to switch up your routine. After my stay at the Houstonian Hotel earlier this week, I flew to Chicago for a quick trip of meetings and exploring!
