Zoolander Takes on Paris Fashion Week for Valentino

“Did you ever think that there’s anything better in life than being really, really, really ridiculously good looking?”
Paris Fashion Week attendees got quite the surprise when our two favorite male models debuted on the runway at Valentino this weekend. That’s right, Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald (better known as Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson) made a bold appearance decked out in the designer’s newest collection, and it’s safe to say these two models have mastered the look of Blue Steel. Though the catwalk stunt was to announce the production of Zoolander 2, I personally think these guys may have found their calling. Check out the full video below. I mean, how amazing is that?

Tickled Pink

Tickled Pink

Though temperatures are below freezing in Dallas today, I can’t stop dreaming of my new Spring wardrobe. Designers are bringing a loud splash of pink into their collections, so get ready for a fresh pop of color onto some of your favorite pieces. These hot pink YSL Tributes are calling my name! What more could a girl ask for?

What goes around comes around.  Say hello to fashion’s newest comeback: the pointed-toe pump. The sleek, ladylike design of this shoe adds a hint of sophistication to any outfit. Whether you are looking for a shoe to pair with a pencil for the office, a pair of cuffed boyfriend jeans for a casual dinner, or a pair of shorts with a tailored blazer for girl’s night out, the pointed-toe pump is your new best friend. Not only is it polished and classic, but it is a flattering look on every woman! Check out some of my favorites below:

Low Heels: Do or Don’t?

Low Heels: Do or Don’t?

When sky-high heels swept the runway, I jumped with joy. The higher the better! This is precisely why I am not 100% thrilled with the newest trend: heels lower than 3 inches. This could mean a return of the awkward kitten heel – SHIELD YOUR EYES! Yes, I understand they are probably more comfortable, but they just seem way too practical to me. Take a peek at some of designer’s newest heels:

Now these are some low-heeled sandals I wouldn’t mind in my closet to wear with a pair jean shorts and a flowy white tank for casual summer days:

High-Fashion Bows

High-Fashion Bows

I’ve always had a love for girly bows, but they were typically large hairbows I would wear to Sunday church.  I love that bows are now a high fashion item that designers are incorporating into clothing and accessory items!  Check out a few of my favorites:
