We had such a fabulous time attending theCrest andElle Party, Cocktails & Smilestyle, atthe Joule Hotel in Dallas last week. The party was on the 5th floor patio of the hotel overlooking downtown Dallas and the new Eye. It was such a glamorous event where fashion bloggers from all over the city gathered to mingle and celebrate, while a lip reader (yes, lip reader) told you everything you needed to know just through the shape of your pucker! The Lucky FABB Conference ended with a lovely networking brunch with all of our new fashion blogger friends at the SLS Beverly Hills Hotel on Saturday morning. We had so much fun meeting all the girls and cannot wait until we can attend our next conference! We each received an AMAZING goodie bag stocked with products and accessories from all of the sponsors, and we are loving all of our new goodies!! As we mentioned on Thursday, we flew out to LA this past weekend for the Lucky FABB Conference at the SLS Beverly Hills Hotel . We had such a fun weekend listening to speakers, meeting new bloggers, exploring the city, and enjoying all the fabulous pampering Lucky FABB provided. We flew in Thursday night and were welcomed with two glamorous events. First, we headed over to Blow Me Away Blow Dry Bar for the Lucky + Wendy’s event. Wendy’s was one of the sponsors for the event to showcase the launch of their newest salad collection, so they gave us all Asian inspired salads while we got our blow outs, which were actually delicious! We had such a fun time getting all dolled up with the girls from the salon! Following this, we headed over to Duplex on Third for the Lucky + Sexy Hair cocktail party, where we mingled with bloggers, sipped cocktails, and learned more about the Sexy Hair products. When I think of a navy dress and a denim jacket, the word classic comes to mind. Despite all the fads that come and go, these are two items that always remain in style. What I love most about this look is this After Pant’s Paris jacket I snagged at Gregory’sa couple years ago. The jacket maintains the same all-American look of denim, but the padded shoulders gives it an updated twist – seethis similar one I found for the look for less. I paired it with this fun and flirty seamed skirt dress for drinks in the Arts District with a girlfriend.
In celebration of Blair and Peter’s one year anniversary, we wanted to spotlight their beautiful wedding in Seaside, FL last year. The couple was introduced by mutual friends in boarding school before attending SMU, so the perfect wedding was definitely a must for these two after all the years.
Since Peter proposed to Blair in Roaring Gap, NC, they decided a charming beach town near our home in Destin would be the perfect location for the wedding. With the help of their amazing wedding planner, Heather, the weekend was more than a success for everyone.
